General:

I have the honor to request authority to purchase for deposit in the Army Medical Museums the following medical medals:

St. Johns Guild floating hospital, $1.50
Stephen Girard.......50;

also for bacteriological specimens, &c.:

6 rabbits......... $3.00
6 Guinea pigs.......3.00
2 mice.......... .50

to be paid for from the Museum Appropriation as emergency purchases.
